   About the Wheaten Terrier:

The Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier is a fun, loving, active dog. They are very intelligent and can be trained well. They are dogs that love to be with their owners and are loyal to them. The Wheaten is great for a family, young couple, even those retiring, or any active person! They should have some space to exercise and require grooming for their incredible coat. They are hypoallergenic and non-shedding, which is perfect for those that have allergies, don’t want to clean up shedding hair, or hassle over getting your furry friend’s hair off your clothes. We personally love the Wheaten Terrier!

About Our Puppies:

Our stud is %100 Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier and DNA tested against over 200 dog-related genetic diseases and has no genetic markers for any of them. 4 of which are wheaten-related. Meaning he can’t pass any genetic markers for these diseases to his puppies.

All of our females are %100 Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers and are health tested for over 200 genetic dog-related diseases.

Our dogs are bred when they are healthy, and at an appropriate age to do so. All of our dogs are seen by certified veterinarians and kept up to date on vaccines, deworming, and health exams.

We breed with the goal of producing healthy, happy puppies while minimizing the risk of Wheaten-related diseases. We want our forever families to have a furry friend that is a wonderful member of their family.

We haven’t had any problems with Wheaten related diseases with any of our litters. However, there are outside environmental factors that can affect some dog related diseases.

Our puppies are sold as pets only, and are not registered with the CKC.

Our puppies come with their first round of vaccinations, having been dewormed and microchipped when they are 8 weeks of age. They will still need 12 week and 16 week booster shots. We also send them to their forever homes with a puppy package which includes some dog food, a leash, toy, spay-neuter agreement, and a blanket that has been with all the siblings and mom which helps the transition to a new home. We also start their crate training when they are about 6 weeks of age, which helps them become more accustomed to crate training when they go to their forever homes.

Our pups are sold as pets only.

Guardianship Program:

We are occasionally looking for Guardianship Families for our puppies. This is where a forever family purchases a puppy for a reduced price to be part of a breeding program as the puppy grows up. We require that the guardian home lives within a hour or so drive of the Landis Saskatchewan. The Guardianship Program allows a family to get the experience of breeding and allows us to have all of our breeding dogs always loved and cared for. The way it always should be! If you are interested or think you would make a good Guardian Home, get a hold of us.
